PTE Academic FORMAT

Speaking & Writing

The first part assesses both skills across nine question types and takes about 76–84 minutes.

Reading

The second part has five question types and takes about 23–30 minutes.

Listening

The final part has eight question types and takes about 31–39 minutes.

Can I take a PTE Academic mock here today?

No. The dedicated PTE Academic mocks are in preparation and will become visible only after publication.

How is PTE Academic organised?

Pearson presents the test in three parts: Speaking & Writing, Reading and Listening.

Are Learning Orbit results official PTE scores?

No. Future Learning Orbit results will be practice estimates, separate from Pearson’s official scores.
